Jess Sparkes

Researcher / Writer

Jessica is a qualified naturopath, always seeking to understand which plants and fungi humans can consume to improve their health outcomes. Jess is driven by a strong desire to understand the full complexity of how these medicines work and the synergies at play.

Trawling through disparate data to assemble accessible and useful documents allows her to pass on to practitioners something of true value. Jess feels honoured to contribute in this way.

Jess and Lee met when they were both studying and were clinic partners in their first student clinic. They have been working together creating content since 2017. Away from the keyboard, Jessica enjoys spotting fungi in the forest, loud music, other music, art shows, gardening and creating amazing food.

Tom Carroll

Film Production & Web Designer

Tom is a creative powerhouse with specialties covering many industry areas, with a revolving focus on directing, VFX, videography, editing and 3D design. All reside under the hood and alias of egumei, the solo freelance project in which Tom runs his operations. Thriving on the limitless possibilities of visual design, Tom is constantly burrowing into new realms of creation, their incessant desire for discovery and experimentation always opening new doors.

You could be wondering how Tom fits into this all, but in short, a son's love for their father knows no bounds, and he's always found himself caught up with helping Lee bring his wild and innovative ideas to life. The Carroll family content machine is, on all occasions, up and running.

Work aside, Tom loves time spent on long hilly rides with his mates, tracking the weather and standing in the rain, cooking alongside a good audiobook, experimenting with 3D software Blender, and creating with friends.
